Well, lauren had a visitor this afternoon, one of our flatmates friends from work. Anyway he turned up on...the buell xb9r from anza..yepp the one laurens been looking at for months and months. The guy had just bought it yesterday.
So lauren convinced this guy to have a look at her bike, and within 10 minutes he got it going.
Turns out the bike manual lies!!! The High tension leads are in the opposite place in the earlier model...WTF!??!?! I couldnt believe thats all it was. I spent so long checking everything, and re-checking it all making sure it was JUST like in the manual.
Ahwell, all is well though, the cbr is running, and mint at that. So tomorrow will be spent checking everything is tightened up and straight etc etc.

Small upate today.
The throttle is sticking very badly, took it into work to fill the tank and the boss had a quick look at it, sprayed some crc down the sides of the cables, slight improvement, but not quite enough, might have to take the cable off and give it a good lube up

Other than that, the bike feels good. Im slightly worried about oil on the tyre, not sure if its soaked in or not, guess we will find out one wet day. And its good to have a bike with more horsepower
