well lets start talking crap....the house my wife and I were buying fell through....roof was fucked....and vendors did not want to lower price to reflect it....so 17 days till move...and we still aint got a house up there.....

Bugger,we were the same had a couple do a build check,came back with 32 dents on the roof wtf,and real estate agent said get real,then said hot water cylinder had leak from inlet and outlet pipes,which was news to us,and only recent,so that fixed and went unconditional last week.Now we can suss out buying again,might wait till early next year.

For the crap we are about to receive,

Update on House sale/purchase

Well, as ya know we are buying a house up norf (Otaki). I mentioned a few days ago somewhere that the house we were going to buy fell through as it had a fucked roof and we were quoted $11k to get it replaced. That on top of it being at the peak of our price range made it unaffordable to my wife and I. Well last week lawyers talked and counter offers were made and rejected, and we could not reach an agreement. So my wife and I have being looking for another property...

...Phone call to my wife today from either agent or lawyer, not sure which. They (the vendors) have dropped the price for us by $10,000. The house is affordable again. So it looks like it will gop ahead...

Anyways,,,thats the homebuying front....

the date will be around the 20th or so that we get up.....so i am thinking early november for a housewarming...will be a barbeque, but BYO...i will have a few slabs or something, but not enough to sustain everyone on an all night bender!

Somewhere in the real estate ideals I find the saying if it is meant to be it will happen.Easy said than done,especially when you find an ideal home and can just afford it but the vendor dicks you around with playing purchasers against each other,then slowly each purchaser falls away till you are left,then you say stuff you this is my final offer.

If you're keen on dark beers try Mangationoka dark,not bad IMHO,I don't like many dark beers,tried one in Sydney but can't recall it now hehe.Kilkenny is a choice drop too.
