Hi guys. Well I'm finally settled in on the Daytona. Need some help setting up the suspension though. It has a slight "wallowing" feeling to the rear end and the front end is very hard and initial turn in going into a corner is slow, then the bike almost falls into it at the last second. Now this could be because I need to change my style, but it could also be because I'm 107kg's and the last owner was around 80-90. lol. blush2.gif
So what do you recommend I do? Upping the spring rate at the rear would be a start I know, but the other issues would require other solutions.
Note: I have tried varying tyre pressures with no real change in the feel.
Ideas?

The following link might provide the to answer your question. Sportsbike suspension Or else it will totally confuse you.

I don't know a lot but if the rear is too soft it will throw out the front end. Your bike sounds like its got really soft suspension in the rear. Even in a car this would make it wallow. I guess adjusting it one click at a time and testing it might be your best bet. Or Try this Triumph Riders Forum

Nice to hear that you are enjoying the bike. Keep away from stray cagers.

Get two mates.

Have one hold the bike upright.

Have the other stand back and observe the bike.

You then stand next to the bike, dont touch it at all other than to place a foot on the peg.

Then push down - hard and pull your foot off straight away.

Repeat a few times.

Ask your observer what he saw.

Did the front go down at the same time as the rear?

Did the front or the rear come up faster then its opposite end?

They should be balanced and compress and rebound at the same speed. If not adjust. Shock preload ring for the rear and fork spring preload adjusters for the front (they are the 14mm hex adjusters on the fork caps with rings marked on them - in means more spring preload = faster harder fork - all rings showing means less preload = slower softer forks).

When road testing, if you bottom the fork or shock at ANY time or it feels far too stiff and non compliant, spring rates are too soft (or too hard for the latter issue) for you and then you go up to the next rate and repeat the process.

If, when doing the above garage exercise, you cant get the suspension to move at the same rate, the front and rear spring rates are mismatched for that bike OR either/or both the front and/or rear springs are "sacked out" and need replacing.

This is only a base to start tuning from and not the be all and end all. But it IS a place to start

NOTE THE SETTINGS BEFORE YOU ALTER ANYTHING SO YOU CAN RETURN TO THEM IF YOU HATE THE NEW SETUP.

For cheaters, it's a good time to be alive because cheating has never been easier. Several large hookup websites function solely as discreet services for extramarital dating, and they do so without shame. They even tutor you on how not to get caught.

To make matters even more favorable, divorce has lost its social stigma. Cheating didn't cause that -- not directly at least -- but as a fact it favors the cheaters. Furthermore, in the spirit of equality and the E.R.A. movement, cheating is no longer a largely male endeavor; in fact, women have been hard at work closing that statistical gap since the 1960s.

Getting caught isn't such a big deal anymore either. Granted, in Michigan adultery is technically still on the books as first-degree criminal sexual conduct, a felony punishable by up to life in prison, while in some Middle Eastern countries (namely Iran) the same crime can result in being stoned to death. However, these are the exceptions, not the rules. In truth, unless you're in politics or the clergy, the worst punishment awaiting most buy wow gold cheaters is not criminal but moral. And if you're cheating, morals aren't a big priority to begin with.
On that bright note, we present 2 things you didn't know about cheating.
Ovulation is a hell of a time for a woman. She feels sexier. She may dress more provocatively -- in tighter clothes or fewer clothes -- than at another time of the month. In an evolutionary scheme this makes good sense:
world of warcraft gold In an effort to propagate the species, she's at her most fertile and flirtatious at the very same time. But shouldn't this instinct shut down when the woman is in a relationship?
Of course not; her genetic code has no idea she's in a relationship, has no idea what that wedding ring means. In fact, results from a University of New Mexico study published in the esteemed Proceedings of the Royal Society suggest a strong link between ovulation (i.e., female fertility) and a heightened interest in men other than her spouse.
