damn it all .. I might be keen I reckon.

I've got a front tyre to sort, but that new hottie at road and sport is hooking me up ;)

Who do you think she's got in mind for that then?
Heard she's hooked up with that Paul fella.

I wont be out for a while - 3 weeks to get my bike sorted. But it's a fantstic weekend to be on a bike
Warr
Count me in.

I'm in.... I shoulda come straight here for the details I guess.. but old habits of goin to KB die hard. Should see yaz in the morning @ th BP. If I dont make it then I've gone shopping for a new bike, or some otha excuse ;)
Warr
Lovely day for an outing. Coro all done & dusted for the day.
3 of us in the end and enjoyed by all I'm sure :)
Road had lots of wet on it up the Coro side which we each gave our own respect.
After a stop at Whitianga road was dry all the way back.

I think the RSV will be needing a new chain tho.
Once they start spewing red rust from the pins there is no way to bring them back sadly :(

Info I have reads RSV1000 '98-'00 Sprockets 17-42 Chain 525 links 108
Our chains are 530's

Good to hear you had a good ride!!  Any gossip or cool stories from the experience...?
Warr
Stories .. mm well, Discovered that the CBR uses more gas when its pushed than the VFR.
Tho on the flat the VFR seems to use more!
The RSV just uses less regardless but it was disappearing in the mirrors so perhaps it wasnt under the same stress :)  .. Which is good since it has the smallest tank at 17litres

Not Gossip exactly, but I thought Warr had dropped a cylinder or two judging by his early pace at the front, turns out he was able to see the wet patches that I was blissfully ignorant of, thank Allah or I woulda been stabbing at my brakes and arseing off no doubt  :D

Was a good ride once we got over the hill to the East coast.

Oh wait, there was one funny moment in particular. We pulled in to gas-up at Kopu, as we rolled into the service-station we see this bunch of cruiser-riders (some cool bikes amongst them actually) in their high-vis vests standing about chatting and giving us sideways glances. We start to imagine that we're the bad-boys for a fleeting minute, then we hear this down-shifting and throttle blipping and an R1 and ZX10 roar angrily into the bowzer for a top-up.

They looked scruffy and purposeful, so Warr comes out with... "lets get going and get a head-start on these boys".

Funny, and we actually didnt see them so I can only assume they either arsed off, or they were heading elsewhere, or we really were the bad-boys... take your pick  ;D
