To quote someone I know

QUOTE
sell R6, buy a race prepped bike second hand for 7 to 10 grand... doing this will save you about 5 to 10 grand on setting up the r6 to race, start racing and then forget about road riding.(kickingzebra)

Got me wondering what track guys get out of the 2 wheel experience.
smoky
Blunt knees

Riding to their limits in a safe environment.
Perhaps they don't enjoy the social side of riding on the road, or else they dont enjoy riding in the wind on an open road, or through some tight twisties. Who knows

But theres more social interaction on the track than there is on the road?
EMFORAL
True, but its only on the track. Not in different places, on a beach perhaps, or in a long lost village (whangamamonanomnana)

I reckon it would be more social if you buggers wernt always in the horizon :P ;D

Thinking about doing a shortish ride next Sunday - depending on my bike being ready.
Thought we might head out on the Wiangaro Road to Pukemero, Huntly - then heading out to Naike and back down 22 to Raglan. Be good for socialising and a good route for smaller bikes.
Malcolm will be along on his CBR600, and maybe Bryce on his R6 picking us up in Hunlty.

Once we get Laurens bike ready we will try come up and go for a ride ;D perhaps somewhere new, possibly meet you hamilton folks somewhere along the journey.

Paul - Taken the GT250 for a ride yet?
