Open to all Bikes as long as you are Road Registered and are capable of Open Road Speeds. (100kph)  :o


Bikers from North, South, East and West converge together in Turangi (Southern end of Lake Taupo) and have a good time over the three days. Saturday the 31st May, Sunday the 1st June and Monday the 2nd of June. We conducted this ride last year for www.kiwibiker.co.nz and it was a great success.

Why is it called the Busta Gut?  You will be doing a fair amount of kms over the long weekend (depends on where you live)


Here's a quick outline of what we plan to do:

Saturday
Ride to Turangi on Saturday (obviously you wouldn't ride direct, its a good chance to explore some roads on the way there), meet and greet Sat arvo over a beer or two. Settle in for the night. Hot Pools in Tokaanu and socializing etc..

Sunday
Go for a big group ride or multiple groups rides (depends on group numbers) Here are some suggestions, Tamuranui Saddle, Lake district - Desert Rd - Ohakune ... Any Ideas for rides please people....
Sunday night have a mass BBQ/(or something else-suggestions?) and drinkies etc

Monday
Say our goodbyes and head back riding the long way home....

There are cabins avaible but not sure if they are single or doubles... It is the same place that the Grand Challenge Ride in Oct uses...
