Xtra and Yahoo continually and without prejudice block email from this website.

It is caused by the mail administrators at Xtra and Yahoo fighting against spam

I have followed the process at Yahoo to get this website "unblocked"

The following is an email I sent today

CODE
1.
140.211.167.148
host 140.211.167.148
148.167.211.140.in-addr.arpa domain name pointer mandrivausers2.osuosl.org.

MX record for mcrides.co.nz points to 210.55.105.82
MX record for mandrivausers.org points to 210.55.105.82

Mail generated from the websites originate from 140.211.167.148 for both domains

2.
I have a dedicated IP address

3.
Personal and corporate email is being sent.

4.
I don't run any subscription based mailing lists
However a user can subscribe to forums, and confirmation is required before a user can subscribe

5.
There are 18416 registered user at mandrivausers.org and 30 (but growinig constantly) at mcrides.co.nz
approximately 700 emails are sent out from this IP address every month

6.
If an email bounces on a regular basis with unknown user, I remove all subscriptions myself  for that user
I will allow an email address to bounce for 5 days before removing

7.
User have the ability to unsubscribe themselves, and it is immediate

An alternative to this is for you as an Xtra or Yahoo user to log on to your webmail system, and add no-reply@mcrides.co.nz to your address book

You can sign in here: Xtra Webmail
TerminalAddict
and the response is big old fat "get stuffed"

QUOTE
What steps can I take to resolve the issues then?

A large portion of my user base is New Zealand based, and use Xtra mail (which is out sourced to Yahoo)
Many of these people use pop3 to get their mail, and have no idea that Yahoo! Mail evens exists

This severely limits any potential growth within a large demographic of New Zealand.

If you give me some idea of how I can "significantly change" my policies?

I have read through http://postmaster.yahoo.com and of particular interest is this page:
http://help.yahoo.com/l/us/yahoo/mail/post...tmaster-02.html

The first quote is: "To ensure that your email gets delivered to the inbox, simply send emails that users want."

Which is exactly what I am doing.

I get complaints from potential users that they did not receive their activation email.
My users are specifically requesting these emails, but are not getting them.

So what steps can I take so I can simply email people who have an xtra.co.nz email address?

Please help.

Paul Willard.
